Craft school offering a variety of craft classes including glass. From their website: "The mission of Penland School of Crafts is to promote individual and artistic growth by providing programs and facilities that serve a full range of craft endeavors. The school's activities are structured to serve working craftspeople, teachers, and anyone who wants to learn about craft." Nice setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Like Haystack, this school has a long history of teaching crafts (since 1929!). Relaxed atmosphere. (I took a couple of classes at Penland about 12 or 13 years ago and liked it alot. They have built a new glass shop since then, which I hear it is very nice.)
